So I continue to be a magnet for poor health. What is wrong with me I'm not quite sure. I thought I'd take some "me" time and go get my nails done last Friday. I had a hang nail, so the nail tech (Jenny) cut it off so it wouldn't be in the way. Saturday my thumb hurt a little. Sunday it was swollen. Monday I looked it up online and started soaking my thumb in ebsom salt. Tuesday it was HUGE!!! and Scary looking. I went to the doctor where they numbed it and lanced it and squeezed out the infection (puss). Went on antibiotics, continued soaking and went to sleep. Wednesday it was worse (see what I mean about magnet......why me????) went back to the doctor had it all done again and got painkillers. Now I'm mad mad mad!! I'm trying to wash and pack for our family reunion but I can't use my right hand. I've got to do dishes but can't get my hand wet. I've got to shower because I have already put off washing my hair for three days. Maybe Aaron would help with that one but I'm not sure about the dishes. Anyway I guess I am just in pain and ornery as *#%@. So here is what this ugly thing looks like now that it has been drained 2x already. See what I mean by GROSS!!!

That is aweful. I am tempted to stay away from you in fear I amy catch some crazy sickness. I am just kidden. You are so stinkin funny. I love to read your blog it always makes me laugh. If you need help with anything let me know.

Natalie you were right -- it does look gross and terribly sore. Seems like all my daughters are having a bad day today. Maybe we can comfort each other at the reunion. Can't wait to hug you all in person on Friday. Love ~ Mom
